The History Behind The Cornhole Game

The Cornhole game is typically played more in the northeast and in the west than it is in the south, but there are pockets of Cornhole players everywhere. The game is gaining in popularity, and more people are taking an interest in how it is played. They even organize tournaments in some places where Cornhole players can get together and enjoy a day of playing the game together. They can win cash and prizes, and they can also simply have a great time with their friends and with fellow Cornhole players. Not everyone knows, though, how the game came about. Some think it started in Europe, and other think that it started in the United States. Those who believe it came about in America also cannot agree on which city and state was the first home of the game. Some believe that it was Chicago, Illinois, and others believe that it was Cleveland, Ohio. The two cities have quite a rivalry taking place about it, and there are good-natured arguments from both sides regarding it.

Sunfish Lures - The Most Deadly Sunfish Lure Ever Created

Many people head out to their local bait shop to pick up live bait to go fishing for sunfish. However, with the amazing plastics that we have available in today’s world of fishing, I think plastic is better than live bait for sunfish.

Why? Well, in my opinion, buying worms, grubs, or maggots is not really what I look forward to when I think about going to have fun with some sunfish. They are messy, and the Styrofoam containers that the bait comes in litter every shoreline I have ever fished in my life. When you have a pack of plastics, you really don’t have a problem with sealing them up and throwing them in your pocket.

The Olympic Games - A Brief (and Bizarre) History

It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of modern-day Olympics. With so much drama, so much romance, so much pizzazz, it is hard to imagine this world-wide spectacle being anything less than perfect. But you don’t have to dig too deeply to discover a humble and oft-times peculiar origin. Truly, it has taken several decades of Hollywood magic to produce the polished sports event we take for granted today.

A Good Horse Racing System Must Really Deliver Over Time

It seems anyone who has bet on horse races for any length of time has his or her own favorite horse racing system. Some of these horse racing systems are almost ridiculous. For example, the colors of a jockey’s silks probably doesn’t effect the outcome of very many races. Yet, this is almost certainly the basis of the horse racing system of some people who play the ponies. Gamblers are perhaps more superstitious than most people and horse racing systems sometimes reflect this superstition.

Buying In Spain - What Is A Buyers Agent And How Can They Help?

1. An overview of buying in Spain

The climate and lifestyle in Spain coupled with the property boom in the UK in the late nineties and early 2000’s has meant people are considering a second home in Spain – or permanently moving here to start a new life. Whatever the reasons there appears to be 2 types of buyers.

1. Those that prepare and research everything
2. Those that have little time or inclination for preparation

Many buyers have seen property exhibitions run by large companies who appear to offer the world. They sign up for inspection trips believing that they will see a few properties and then have time to look around other areas and other properties.

Guide To The Blue Ridge Parkway - Favorite Things To See And Do In Virginia

The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway travels over 469 miles of mountain tops through North Carolina and Virginia. Along the way, there are plenty of panoramic overlooks, picnic areas, and several campgrounds to accommodate both trailers and tents. The Blue Ridge Parkway also offers more than one hundred hiking trails, as well as access to larger trail systems like the 2000 mile long Appalachian Trail and the 900 mile Mountain to Sea Trail in North Carolina.

Garnett To Boston

To all Knicks fans out there the day has come where Isaiah Thomas’s off-season moves have been over shadowed by dare I say it, Danny Ainge. The words just coming out of my mouth make me shiver in disgust. Somehow, in one year the Celtics went from joke of the league to title contender or dare I say…the favorites in the East.

Oregon State Baseball Beavers Tap Into World Series Win

The Oregon State Beavers baseball team recently repeated as College World Series Champions. That was the first time a team has achieved this feat.

But that wasn’t the only “first”.

It was also the first time that high level collegiate athletes were seen “tapping” on national televison. In fact, the team reports that no less than five prominent players utilize this new mental game technique on a regular basis.

What is “tapping”, you might ask…
