Madrid has been in existence since the dawn
of civilization, yet premier evidence of it may be traced to mid-ninth century
via a small palace constructed on the orders of Mohammad I. Now taken over by
Palacio Real, it has undergone several modifications. Madrid itself has been the site of several
wars. Never mind its restless history, the city is perhaps the liveliest in the
world.

Chichester is a historic market town situated in West Sussex, on the stunning south coast of the United Kingdom. Originally a Roman fort, the area was built on first in 44AD by the Romans who had invaded Britain. The Celtic tribe who had previously occupied the land cooperated with the Romans, and the leader of the tribe was left king of Sussex. The Romans chose the land as a fort due to its proximity to a harbour (to import goods) and a river (The Lavant) which could supply water.
