A lot of websites have gained their popularity, and therefore financial success, through article marketing. Through the years, it has proven to be an effective advertising tool. If you own a website, it’s a good idea to promote it with article marketing.
However, the real question is, how do you exactly earn from article marketing? You have articles in your hard drive, but how do you use them to promote your site? Here are four ways to augment your income using article marketing:
1.) Gather all the articles you’ve written and publish it as an e-book
. E-books can be sold for a reasonable fee; they can also be given away as an incentive to attract more customers which leads to more sales. Either way, you stand to earn a lot from e-books with proper marketing.
2.) Use your articles in an email marketing campaign. Through email marketing, you are able to build your mailing list because people need to leave their email addresses to sign up as a subscriber. As you surely know, the bigger your targeted mailing list is, the better your chances are for making a sale.
3.) Publish your articles as entries in a blog, and once your blog starts getting its fair share of visitors, you can sell ad space to third parties. You can earn each time an ad is clicked on by a visitor, or each time an ad appears on the screen. You can even join Google AdSense which has made many people much, much richer since its debut.
4.) Submit your articles in a lot of article directories. Make sure that each of your copy has a resource box at the bottom containing a link to your site. Once your works are published by these directories, the link to your site will be published, too. This increases your link popularity which is an important quality valued by search engine algorithms.
